Supposed To...

I was supposed to call a few bands today to get an idea on their costs...I didn't. Is it so terrible that I just didn't feel like calling bands and asking them a million questions, then finding out that they costs a ridiculous amount of money?

What would you spend on a band?

I was thinking of spending, NOTHING! I wanted a DJ the whole time I wasn't engaged, and now that we are having over 300 people at our wedding, having a DJ apparently looks tacky.

Four Weeks In

It's four weeks into the wedding planning, so I'm a little behind but I'll try to catch whoever is reading this up.

Right now I'm in the process of putting together our engagement party.

So, here I am planning a mini wedding for nearly 190 guests! All along I thought it was going to be 100, apparently I was way off...by 90. Last week the fiance and I ordered our invitations from vistaprint.ca, it was super easy to use (I'll let you know if I recommend it on Friday when our invitations arrive) YEE PEE

Yesterday went something like this:

-->Woke up
-->Went to buy ink for the printer so that I can print the labels
-->Got the ink YAY
-->Went to Michaels Craft Store to buy some creative touches, I had a great coupon from flyerland.ca and was supposed to get 50% off one item however the sales girl gave me 50 off my entire bill
-->Ran out of the store hoping that I can keep my frisky discount
-->Went to Office Depot and got terrible service
-->Went to Staples to buy clear labels and got no service, but they had what I wanted at a great price.
-->Got in my car and drove to my sisters house for afternoon coffee
-->Went home to work on the labels
-->Went to work
